Distinguished Plaintiff’s First Party Property Litigation Law Firm with multiple offices throughout Florida is looking for experienced Litigation Paralegals / Legal Assistants to join their TAMPA office. Should have experience with First Party Property litigation (plaintiffs or defense). Will also consider those with Plaintiff’s Personal Injury or Bodily Injury Defense Litigation experience. We represent homeowners who make claims against their homeowner’s insurance companies for severe property damage as a result of hurricane, storm, wind, water and other property damage to residential and commercial properties.
***IDEAL Candidates have 3+ years experience in either Plaintiff’s or Defense First Party Property Litigation in FLORIDA***
DUTIES: Opening case files, client intake, issuing subpoenas, reviewing and summarizing records, helping attorneys prepare demand letters, drafting pleadings, sending out discovery, answering discovery, deposition prep and scheduling, motions, e-filing, court hearings, prep for mediations and trials, client phone calls, and assisting with paperwork in case settlement process. Should have some experience with helping attorneys prepare for trials by making trial binders.
