The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity is looking for a qualified planner to head up the state land planning agency’s community resilience efforts! There are exciting things happening at the state level in terms of resiliency and sea level rise and there are lots of opportunities for the right candidate to make an impact through these efforts. This is a highly professional position that requires expertise and/or experience in providing trainings, presentations, and other forms of technical assistance, particularly in the areas of planning for Sea Level Rise, Resiliency, and Post-Disaster Redevelopment. The position engages with stakeholders throughout the state, serves as a representative for the agency, and is a resource for local governments.
