Looking for a reliable, dependable and mature person to join our front desk team. Position is for someone with open availability able to work weekends and holidays since we are in a business that operates 24 hours.(Full time and part time hours available.)

Prior hotel experience is a plus(but not necessary). If you have worked for Choice Hotels before even better.

Below is a brief outline of what is expected in this position.

* Greet guests and patrons as they arrive

* Ask if guests have a prior booking

* Manage the registration process

* Ask for identification and ensure information matches reservation

* Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately

* Take calls and provide information and transfer calls

* Manage accurate accounting of all cash and credit card transactions on your shift

* Take reservations over the telephone and in person

* Answer questions regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining around the area, sports facilities and travel directions

* Refer guests to appropriate departments to resolve complaints or provide suggestions

* Compute bills and take payments

* Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported

* Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift
