FirstService Residential is hiring a full time Front Desk Associate(s) for a luxury high-rise in Saint Petersburg, FL. Must be professional and have flexibility to work assigned shifts.

Job Summary

Perform functions to act as liaison between the corporate Front Desk Operations Team and assigned properties. Supervise and lead a team of Area Specialist and facilitate and support the needs of the properties, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policy.

Schedules: First, second and third shifts available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily functions of assigned Front Desk team within assigned portfolio while maintaining standards of excellence for processes, methods and personnel. Serve as Liaison and internal Consultant with Property Managers and Front Desk Team Leaders to ensure the goals and needs of the property, company and its customers are consistently met.
  • Prioritize, assign, schedule and monitor shift coverage for assigned properties. Check work and monitor quality of Front Desk services provided. Update and maintain Master Schedule and payroll for assigned team. Provide direction and assist in the investigation and resolution of internal and external problems and concerns. Track and communicate goals for individual and department performance.
  • Conduct quality assurance visits to assigned properties. Make observations in Front Desk area and collect and present data for Management. Identify current and possible issues, inconsistencies, and suggest appropriate corrective procedures.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for Front Desk staff as assigned and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company and customer regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions and deadlines. Conduct service related training programs as needed.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in starting up new properties. Schedule constant coverage for initial period and ensure staff are aware of and comply with company and customer regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, or disciplinary measures. Participate in the Performance Evaluation process of assigned staff and provide counseling and coaching to employees. Maintain harmonious employee/employer relations.
  • Contribute to the documentation of Standard Operating Procedure and maintain existing procedures.
