FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Front Desk Receptionist’s main goal is to provide support in the areas of recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding new employees. Some administrative and clerical work will also be required. This individual works closely with the Director of HR and Branch Manager, to ensure compliance with company, state and federal policies.
Job duties:
- Greet and assist employees and walk-ins with their inquiries, as well as by phone and email
- Actively recruit new applicants for phone screenings and interviews, set up daily interviews for current open positions
- Keep up with current openings and post new job ads online as needed
- Assist HR Director to facilitate a new hire orientation for new employees to the company
- Maintain complete and accurate personnel files in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
- Ensure new hire and employee records are updated as needed
- Maintain a supply of current forms and documents related to HR, payroll, and benefits (e.g. employee handbook, benefit overview, I-9, W-4, etc.).
- Ensure accurate processing of new-hire documentation, including application for employment, background check release, I-9, W4 and other related items
- Serve as contact person for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, and related HR topics
- Administer drug tests and conduct background checks
- Work in Applicant Tracking System to support administrative recruiting functions, track candidates, and retrieve data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure privacy of employees’ personal information
- Maintain uniform program, including measuring and ordering uniforms, tracking issuance to existing personnel, collection of uniforms, and requests for uniform refunds
Required skills and abilities:
- Ability to handle competing priorities

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
