Strategic Property Partners, LLC (‘SPP’) is a full-service real estate developer, owner and operator focused on world-class execution, innovation, and creating high quality and experiential places. SPP’s first project, Water Street Tampa, is being developed on over 50 acres of contiguous land the company owns in downtown Tampa along the waterfront. The phased Water Street Tampa development project commenced vertical construction in 2018, and is revitalizing the downtown core into an urban, mixed-use waterfront district consisting of approximately 9 million square feet of new commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling over $3 billion in private investment from SPP. This position acts as the first point of contact in the SPP office by welcoming guests, notifying SPP staff of arrivals and appropriately directing visitors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answer corporate phone line and route calls or take messages as appropriate
  • Grant building access in accordance with security procedures
  • Greet guests and visitors to the reception area and direct as appropriate
  • Provide a constant presence in the reception area to allow for accessibility by employees and guests
  • Manage departmental and conference room calendars; schedule meetings and interviews as needed
  • Receive mail, sort and prepare outgoing mail
  • Order inventory such as office supplies, snacks, beverages etc.
  • Initiate, track, set-up and breakdown catering orders
  • Remain knowledgeable of company audio visual technology
  • Assist with scheduling and booking travel for staff and candidates as needed
  • Assist in preparing monthly expense reports for employees as needed
  • Back up support to the Customer Service Coordinator, ensuring visitors are promptly greeted in the marketing center
  • Maintain a positive image of the brand and company at all times
  • Attend one to two pre-approved customer service and security training courses annually
  • Ensure reception area, common areas and conference rooms are always presentable, clean and restock refrigerators/pantry as needed
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc projects
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
  • Partner with various departments throughout the organization
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service or support related work experience
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven interpersonal skills with all levels of management and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Exchange
  • Professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 lbs
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to complete front desk safety training within 90 days of start date
  • Ability to work between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm Monday – Friday
