Due to continued growth, we’re currently seeking a motivated team player with a minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience to lead accounting engagements. Working directly with the firm’s Partners and clients in various industries, responsibilities include:
- Gather data for forensic accounting engagements; analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports
- Prepare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations
- Provide accounting support by reviewing financial information and converting data to general ledger system
- Resolve clients’ accounting inquiries through research and data interpretation
- Develop and cultivate professional client relationships
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Capacity and commitment to work 30-40 hours a week
- Minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience encompassing progressive scope and responsibilities
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Suite (Teams, Office & SharePoint) and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks proficiency preferred
- Ability to professionally perform client engagements, identify accounting issues and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A passion for and sense of personal satisfaction in helping small businesses succeed.
- Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve client issues.
- Experience in developing strong team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.
