Reak Estate Office – Northest Tampa – I75/Bruce B Downs Market Center Administrator (MCA) position
Primary Duties:
· Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant – must be able to pass the KW MCA Accounting Test; Member of the leadership team.
· Accurate banking and accounting services
· Managing/negotiating all contracts providing services to the Market Center
· Manage office systems from Internet, Technology, maintenance of office space, décor and much more
· Assure all transactions files meet FREC standards and commissions paid appropriately
· Hire and supervise all office staff – Front Desk, Agent and Transactions Services, and Assistant MCA
· Assure office has coverage and systems in place to address real estate agent needs
Key Skills, Education and Training Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, emphasis on accounting
· College level course work in accounting
· 3 years of full-charge accounting experience
· Previous experience in the Real Estate Industry a plus
· Provable computer experience with accounting software, MS Office – Word, Excel, Google Mail and apps, Facebook Business Pages, and Web based CRM, Data Base.
Duties will include but not limited to:
· The MCA Position is a very varied position that does or needs to know just about everything in the Market Center. The position never gets boring because every day is different. You must be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and be able to “think on your feet”.
· Managing, hiring, training and consulting Market Center staff. Assuring that the office is covered appropriately and has someone available to cover many different aspects of the office and needs of the real estate agent.
· Full-charge bookkeeping/accounting duties including AR, AP, General Journal Entries, preparing Financial Statements and reports, and preparing accounting records for annual tax return preparation. Maintaining ancillary spreadsheets to assist in assuring real estate agent commissions are paid appropriately.
· Utilize Keller Williams’s proprietary software for transaction information that is imported into accounting software.
· Maintain both transaction and accounting information to be able to close “the books” monthly and transmit monthly production to Keller Williams by the 2nd day of the following month.
· Create systems to assure office operates efficiently and effectively.
· Develop policies and procedures that are approved by Team Leader and Associate Leadership Council.
· Manage the Associate Leadership Council including monthly meeting agendas and minutes, publishing as required by Keller Williams policy
· Develop systems and programs to assure retention of real estate agents working closely with Team Leader and Trainer/Productivity Coach.
· Keep informed on all new initiatives/products and introduce to real estate agents.
· Be learning based, attend all KW Region Leadership Meeting, attend KW Family Reunion and Mega Camp – main training events for KW and any other required Regional or International training events.
· Develop and maintain positive and productive relationship with real estate agents.
Work Schedule:
· Monday – Friday, 8 – 5 pm, with one hour lunch
Other Employee Benefits:
· National Holidays including New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and day after, and Christmas Day.
· Eligible for Two (2) weeks of paid vacation, after six-months of positive performance.
· Eligible for ½ day of sick leave monthly, after six-months of positive performance.
