Direct Report: This position reports directly to the Managing Principals of the Company.
Responsibilities: The following responsibilities for this position relate to the accounting of the Company’s investment funds (“Funds”) and their subsidiaries and affiliates. Although comprehensive, they are not exhaustive and the position may require other such activities, as established by the Company from time to time.
General – Responsible for the oversight of all accounting-related activities of the Funds including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, construction draws, bank account reconciliations, general ledger, preparing financial reports, maintaining banking relationships and other such activities, as established by the Company from time to time.

Treasury & Budget Administration
Tax Returns
Loan Compliance
Capital Calls & Distributions
Bank Reconciliations
o Fund Audits
Prepare necessary consolidated financial statements
Prepare necessary audit notes for review by Fund auditors
Interface with Fund auditors as necessary
Real Estate Investment and Development – Supports Managing Principals in all accounting and financial aspects of the Funds’ real estate investment and development projects including, but are not limited to, research, budgeting, preparing presentations, transaction structuring and documentation, project status reporting, project accounting and project financing.
Fund Investor Reporting – Works closely with the senior management team to maintain Fund investment information, determine performance metrics and generate periodic investor reports. Interface with Fund investors regarding their specific reporting requirements.
Team Work: Although this position is dedicated to a specific aspect of Forge Capital Partners’ activities, this position also entails the ability to assist other members of Forge Capital Partners when, and if necessary, to remain competitive in its industry. This “team work” aspect of the job, although not clearly defined, should be intuitive to the appropriate candidate.
Required Skills: This position requires a high level of proficiency in managing a multitude of tasks, excellent decision making capability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong coordination and follow through, ability to remain productive under the pressure of deadlines, and the use of various software applications to support the foregoing activities, including: Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat.
Educational Requirement: This position requires a minimum four (4) year college education with a relevant major and a minimum of four (4) years work-related experience in corporate accounting and finance. Reasonable knowledge of GAAP, consolidation methods and audits is necessary.
