Job Summary
Gerardi Construction Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to manage resources effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance
- Implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Conduct regular status meetings with team members and clients to communicate progress and address any issues.
- Manage risks by identifying potential obstacles and developing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee resource allocation and ensure that team members are adequately supported throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage submittals and RFIs and log the approval process. Coordinate these logs with the AOR & EOR.
Experience
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A background in product management is a plus.
