We’re looking for some skilled writers and researchers to create a haunted history-based ghost tour in the city of Aspen! You must be local to the city of Atlanta, and know it well, as you will need to visit stops during the creation of this tour. Here are the details of what we are looking for:
- The tour should be a ghost tour consisting of no more than 14 locations. The starting and ending locations should be the same, so the route will be created as a loop.
- You will select 8-10 locations that are no more than one mile in walking distance, draw the route (you can use google maps) select an ideal meeting location, and add an additional set of 4 to 5 locations.
- You will need to draw the route for the regular tour, and then a separate route for the regular tour plus the extended route. You should list the total walking distance for the regular tour, the extended tour, and both combined. It should be mapped out on some type of google maps, as well as being placed in the document that contains the actual stops and stories.
- The stories should be written with care to verbal delivery, detailed, use local history, and of course, move the reader through a scary and emotional story. Excellent writing and editing skills are expected for this project.
- Each story should be approximately 1,200 words each. I have examples to provide. This will be research-heavy, as stories should be based on history and documented accounts, and they must be in a small walking area, but you are free to use creative license to fill in any gaps. A good balance of haunted history, ghost stories, and sightings will be expected.

This is a contract position that will pay a flat fee of $450 for the created content, tour, and route. We are expecting a high-quality, finished draft before payments are made.
