POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Graphic Artist you will be responsible for the creation, implementation and distribution of all marketing campaigns, by using computer software programs, to communicate products or ideas, to generate new business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to meet monthly production quotas
- Must have some general knowledge of production printers
- Using computer software packages, create designs, such as flyers and postcards that identify a product or convey a message
- Research and develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Research and develop marketing mailing lists to generate new business
- Responsible for reviewing designs for accuracy before final review by management
- Present final designs to Marketing Manager for edits
- Print, assemble and distribute approved marketing campaigns

IMPORTANT QUALITIES:
Analytical skills: Must be able to look at their work from the point of view of their consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the company’s desired message
Artistic ability : Must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers. They produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program
Computer skills : Most know MS Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Creativity : Must be able to suggest and execute new approaches to communicating ideas to customers
Time-management skills : Must have strong time-management skills as there are multiple projects in our pipeline at the same time, each with a different deadline
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Operations are held in a small, open office with multiple departments

No, this is an independent contributor position
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position – 39 hours per week.
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
