The Graphic Artist will be responsible for managing the daily custom label prepress and production requirements to support all the company’s custom label business.
Essential Functions:
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create original artwork to be used on unique custom product labels
- Proof all label copies and art creation/placement
- Ensure all clinic information, sku numbers, and all associated customer requirements meet the required specifications
- Retrieve art from the system based on the customer code to do label reprints
- Pull correct artwork based on the customer code
- Place all paperwork into job jacket with the labels for warehouse picking
- Ensure printers are services regularly and are operating correctly
- Work closely with sales team to offer technical support, answer questions, and produce samples for customer approval
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure they have everything they need to produce the customer label projects
Work Environment: Professional office with desk and some time will be spent in the warehouse as well which is also climate controlled.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of prior experience using Photoshop and Illustrator in a fast paced production environment
- Minimum of two years of college experience preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
Performance Expectations: Able to complete all job duties satisfactorily.
