We are currently hiring a full time Groundskeeper/Porter for an apartment community.
Position Overview for Groundskeeper:
The groundskeeper position is responsible for the care, upkeep and maintenance of all outdoor and common areas, including: landscaped areas, pathways, pool and laundry rooms, and courtyard. Must have experience in: grounds keeping, gardening, general maintenance aptitude, good communication skills, and a great sense of customer service.
Responsibilities for Groundskeeper: Daily cleaning of property and upkeep of all common areas. Remove trash/litter, sweep pathways and sidewalks Basic gardening/weeding. Minor painting projects as needed around property.
Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- 1 year of previous experience working as a Groundskeeper/Janitorial work.
- Ability to communicate to patrons and to staff.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail
- Customer service experience
