At Southeastern Guide Dogs, we’re working hard on behalf of our extraordinary dogs, transforming lives. Our Marketing Department is hiring a dynamic Guest Experience Coordinator to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates all aspects of event planning including but not limited to venue research, site-selection/planning visits, vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, attendee management and overall logistical coordination (menus, setup, décor, audio visual, and activities). Events include graduations, construction milestone events and other special events.
- Develops and coordinates public campus activities and provides customer support to visitors. Activities include Puppy Kindergarten Adventure, Guide Dog Experience, Creation of a Superhero and Public Dog Obedience Classes.
- Provides assistance in other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years event planning experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Requires outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills

* We are located in Palmetto, Florida, near the intersection of I-75 and I-275, and are easily accessible from Palmetto, Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa, and St. Petersburg.
