Guest Experience Specialist – Part-time position

We are scaling operations fast and are seeking a Guest Experience Specialist to join our growing Tampa, FL area team. As Viagem’s Guest Experience Specialist in the Tampa area, you will be the local face of our brand and responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for guests staying in our apartments. Your connection with our guests begins with a warm virtual welcome, continues with face-to-face encounters, and only ends after our guests write their warm-hearted and complimentary comments about their memorable stay on our social media channels.
The Viagem Guest Experience Specialist role goes well beyond the traditional hospitality role. Your enthusiastic and friendly personality will shine through when providing exceptional guest services, along with your passion for hospitality. You live and breathe the Viagem “put the guest first” and “service obsession” attitude when addressing guest inquiries with a never-ending smile in a positive and timely fashion. Your quick thinking and “out of the box” creative solution skills will come in handy when addressing our guests fast changing, and sometimes humorous requests. You will employ a high-level of communication skills when interfacing (virtually and in-person) with guests throughout their Viagem stay and are ready to share your endless and unique local area knowledge to enhance our guests’ urban experience.
The Guest Experience Specialist Role
- Full ownership of guest stay experience from check-in to check-out
- Be available during daytime hours to address guest requests through multiple channels (phone, chat, email, in person)
- Provide guests with extra toiletries, towels, and other “home away from home” essentials
- Spot-check and perform last-minute tidying up and pampering before each new guest arrival
- Troubleshoot technical and low-maintenance issues; able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Conduct routine quality assurance walk-throughs and checklist processes to ensure each property meets Viagem’s high standards
- Escalate urgent issues to our Operations Team
- Communicate with vendors
Your Qualifications
- Clean and valid driver’s license a requirement; reliable vehicle a must
- Ability to travel to various properties within the Tampa area
- 1-3 years of hospitality, retail, property management or other customer facing experience
- Passionate about perfection
- Independent decision maker who thinks on their feet and is a creative and efficient problem solver
- Versatile attitude and able to change gears at the last minute
- Exceptionally organized and able to create and work with task lists and QA processes
- Dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure our guests have a memorable experience
- Tech savvy and able to work with multiple platforms and communication devices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime hours, evenings, weekends and holidays (11am -4pm) approximately 20-25 hours per week)
