Job Description

Strategic Property Partners, LLC (‘SPP’) is a Tampa-based firm that is a partnership between Cascade Investment LLC, and Jeff Vinik. SPP is a fully-integrated commercial real estate company dedicated to creating and sustaining vibrant and enduring, high quality and experiential places. SPP’s first project, Water Street Tampa, is being developed on over 50 acres of land in downtown Tampa along the waterfront. The Water Street Tampa development project is revitalizing the currently underutilized tract of land to create an urban, mixed-use waterfront district consisting of approximately 9 million square feet of new commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling over $3 billion in private investment from SPP. Integrating principles of walkability, sustainability, connectivity, design quality, and wellness, SPP will create, own and operate this new world-class neighborhood in Tampa, while also elevating the city’s national prominence.

  • Maintain and clean café, kitchen, conference rooms and barista station including but not limited to, loading the dishwasher, cleaning the refrigerators, wiping down surface areas, etc.
  • Set-up/break-down coffee display, breakfast, lunch and happy hours for employees daily
  • Responsible for maintaining a presentable and tidy common and reception area and other areas, as needed
  • Maintain and stock restrooms, café, kitchen and barista supplies and take inventory, as needed
  • Restock and clean refrigerators, pantries and dispose of trash in the common areas (kitchen, café, conference rooms, etc.)
  • Provide a constant, positive and professional presence throughout the office for employees and guests
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Track, set-up and breakdown catering orders and company events
  • Remain knowledgeable of company audio visual technology
  • Attend one to two pre-approved hospitality service and security training courses annually
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc projects
  • Act as a backup to the Front Desk Concierge, ensuring visitors are promptly greeted in the marketing center and reception area
  • Act as a backup for answering corporate phone lines and route calls or take messages, as appropriate
  • Partner with various departments throughout the organization as needed
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 years of service or support related work experience
  • Proven interpersonal skills with all levels of management and clients
  • Professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to complete front desk safety training within 90 days of start date
  • Flexibility in working the hours of 8:00am and 6:30pm Monday – Friday

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Working knowledge of efficient office procedures
  • Desire to interact with various individuals that are both internal and external to the company
  • Ability to take direction tactfully from various individuals
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
