Home Inspector – Pillar to Post (Tampa)

Seeking a licensed home inspector or someone who wants to become a home inspector. This person should to have the following qualifications:

  • Be detailed oriented and able to determine housing defects while inspecting a home.
  • Able to follow inspection procedures and directions.
  • Able to get on and walk around on a roof to check for damage and other problems encountered.
  • Able to enter an attic of a home to inspect for water damage, structure and other problems encountered.
  • Able to get under homes with raised foundations to inspect for leaks and other problems encountered.
  • Able to be on time to home inspections and to finish the inspection in the allotted time frame.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be drug free and able to be bonded and insured to become a licensed home inspector.
  • Be presentable and look professional and have very good people skills.
  • Must be dependable and self motivated.
  • Ability to communicate with the home buyer and realtor after the inspection to explain your findings.
  • Be available for client and realtor follow up questions about your inspections.
  • Able to write concise comments for the inspection report.
  • Comfortable with computers and software applications required.
  • Ability to work around a flexible schedule and be available on an occasional weekend inspection on Saturday.
  • Preference giving to veterans.
