Seeking a HIGHLY motivated / dedicated / inspirational, General Manager to operate our 70 room Hampton Inn Tampa/Rocky Point. Successful candidate MUST have the following qualities:

-Exceptional track record of previous performance at a Hampton Inn property

-Provide positive and professional leadership

-Train and develop team members

-Achieve full implementation / consistency of management brand standards

-Provide accurate and timely financial information to hotel management company

– Be a Team-Oriented leader with passion for the hospitality industry

-Generate new and repeat business through planned sales & marketing activity with active participation in the local community

-Drive rate and occupancy through Yield Management strategy

-Maintain property through planned preventive maintenance program

-Maximize on profit conversion through control of costs while maintaining brand and company standards

-Deliver customer satisfaction / service and be in full compliance with brand standards of quality with respect to audits and guest service scores

Requirements:

-Needs to have a minimum of 1 year experience as a General Manager within the hotel industry

-Strong community involvement including local sales

-Positive and effective communicator

-Supportive, hands-on management style

-Competent in Word and Excel

-Ability to budget and understand P&L statements as well as ability to forecast accurately

-Flexible to travel to training/meetings as required

-M3 knowledge preferred not required

-OnQ knowledge preferred

-Hampton Inn GM Certified candidates preferred and given top priority
