Under managerial direction; responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with HR-related policies, with primary focus on compliance and consistency in employee relations, equal employment opportunity, Affirmative Action, diversity and compensation; and ensure HR practices are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, internal policies and influences as they relate to employment. Support Corporate HR partners and assist with questions. Develop and support implementation for operational HR compliance strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development, monitoring and auditing of all Regulatory, Legal, and Firm compliance requirements as they relate to employment.
- Research, analyze and summarize statutory law and regulatory law as relates to HR and employment issues.
- Create AAP, EEO, Veterans and other regulatory reporting as required.
- Partner with all HR functions to ensure consistent, compliant application of policies, processes and support systems in delivery of service to the Firm.
- Audit compliance with company policies, procedures, governmental regulations and quality controls in order to identify risks and non-compliance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report, Firm-wide, on current HR programs and HR/Labor Relations regulatory/legislative compliance issues and trends.
- Serve as first level reviewer in Contracts Management System for HR components of contracts. Monitor contract status and compliance of HR items.
- Ensure Compliance issue resolution (assigned owners, tracking and reporting progress) and escalation as appropriate for KGS and Kforce programs.
- Serve as SME for HR policy content and assist in policy and program creation.
- Ensure comprehensive plan to identify regulatory obligations and develop, implement and audit/ monitor corrective action plans and provide regular reporting to managers and leaders.
- Present issues, formulate recommended actions and escalate issues and non-compliance to appropriate leaders.
- Partner with HR owner to coordinate EEO/AA and provide related training and education to managers on HR Compliance policy, requirements, and law.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and 6 -10 years related experience in Human Resources compliance or finance (audit), or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced knowledge of the HR regulatory/compliance environment as it relates to all aspects of HR including emerging legislation; extensive knowledge of employee and labor law and related practices required. Specific experience in the areas of audit/investigation/legal – regulatory compliance is preferred. Advanced degree or HR-related paralegal experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel required, up to 20%. |
