Job Description:
Under general direction performs professional analytical support work in areas such as recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, equal employment opportunity, labor relations, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, staff development, compliance programs (e.g. EEOC, ADA, FLSA); responsible for consolidation and analysis of data, recommends and administers approved personnel policies; and also performs a variety of complex administrative support tasks. Conducts staff training and development towards analyzing future staffing needs. Assists in aligning workforce planning to the Authority’s organizational strategic plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary area of responsibility is the administration of the Authority’s workforce planning human resources analytics program in conjunction with the Sr. Human Resources Administrator and the Sr. Manager of Human Resources and Organizational Development
- Assists in the research, analysis and evaluating of the Authority’s workforce composition and in the implementation of strategies to prepare for ongoing staffing needs in compliance with all Authority, Local, State and Federal policies, laws and guidelines; utilizes reporting tools to extract, consolidate; gather data to generate reports from multiple HR systems for key metrics and analyses
- Actively participates in all aspects of employee recruitment and organizational engagement from pre-employment to organizational exit phases
- Conducts workforce planning initiatives by conducting supply, demand, gap and solution analyses
- Tracks, analyzes and utilizes human resources metrics in support of workplace planning initiatives
- Assists in the review and analysis of current methodologies, workflow, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the HR workforce planning unit
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide exceptional HR support
- Develops and recommends personnel policies and procedures in support of workforce planning
- Prepares charts and reports to display data and analysis in a visually compelling manner on all workforce planning initiatives
- Assists in the internal and external Human Resources sponsored special outreach events and activities such as job fairs, recruitment forums, new employee orientation, staff training, etc.
Work Environment: Office.
Days & Hours: Full time position; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. Complete schedule will be discussed with the applicant.
Pay: $42,199.05 to $67,518.49 per year; depends on experience. Benefits are offered. Veterans Preference.
