Education: Associates Degree in Business or Human Resources or comparable education and work experience in a human resources support role.
Experience: Two to three years’ experience working with sensitive confidential information. Individual must be able to multi-task in fast paced environment with changing priorities. Individual must be able to key data timely, accurately and be detail oriented.
Duties:
- On-boards new hires and presents human resources orientation material to new hires and interns.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process, placing advertisements at colleges, professional associations, and social media websites, etc.
- Initiates pre-screening activities to include Level 2 backgrounds, drug screens, local criminal background checks, driving history checks, etc. for new hires, and interns.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System which includes creating both internal and external job postings.
- Performs all data entry to HRIS system for hires, transfers, location changes, licensure, etc.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to complete a level II background screen and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law.Attachment(s)
