Seeking a part time HR/Finance Assistant to work in a fast-paced environment where you will switch between tasks as needed to ensure the needs of the departments are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multi-tasking skills along with exceptional communication and time management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Manage recruitment effort for available positions to include advertising, reviewing resumes/applications and sending qualified candidate information to hiring manager
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring manager and interview team
- Send offer letter and ensure completion of drug testing and background screening documents
- Retrieve results for background and drug screening and escalate any issues for further review
- Arrange new hire start date and communicate details with new hire
- Coordinate computer/log-in credentials with IT Department for new hires
- Ensure the proper completion of new hire paperwork to include completion of I9 and eVerify
- Maintain all HR files in a compliant manner
- Enter employee information and updates into HR/Payroll system
- Maintain awareness and initiate assistance on projects assigned to Finance/HR/Payroll
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team
- Follow all organization’s policies, practices, and procedures
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education/Training/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of progressively responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
