We’re expanding quickly and seeking a dynamic HR Generalist/Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a generalist and/or a recruiter but will have an interest in doing both! You will also have the opportunity to learn and perform safety functions in this role.
Some of what you’ll do:
Human Resources
· Provide continuous employee support for all HR related issues (e.g. compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc.)
· Assist with training and development programs
· Develop and implement HR policies
· Refresh the employee handbook as necessary
· Maintain employee records ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
· Organize performance reviews
· Develop and implement appreciation programs
Recruiting
· Develop and manage the recruiting process for all field personnel. Conduct initial interviews and schedule subsequent interviews with hiring managers.
· Create and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract employees that will include job boards, social media platforms, job fairs, and all other appropriate avenues to identify and engage with potential candidates
· Ensure recruiting activity produces a steady pipeline of qualified candidates that improves yield and retention
Assist senior leadership team in recruitment efforts for management positions – manage university job postings, create marketing materials, attend career fairs, etc.
Safety
· Help in the development and administration of safety programs
· Promote a safety culture within the workplace
· Lead onboarding and training initiatives relating to safety
· Develop and manage safety metrics
· Handle injury reporting and claims management for OSHA and Worker’s Comp purposes
What you have:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Human resources or recruiting experience, having some of both is preferred
· The ability to speak Spanish is a big plus
· Strong comfort working in a small entrepreneurial business where you will wear many hats.
