POSITION SUMMARY: Hourly Rate: $12.26/hour…. 25 hours/week… Flexible Schedule
Responsible for providing support to the Senior Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Department to ensure the efficient operation of the Human Resources function.
Duties include:
Ensure concise, accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and documentation.
Responsible for filing, organizing and updating employees’ personnel files
Ability to partner across the organization with multiple departments through the exchange of data, information, and frequent communication.
Responsible for the completion of assigned human resource correspondence and clerical tasks, including mailings, copying and faxing.
Responsible for forwarding and processing local law background checks.
Completes reference checks on potential new hires as assigned.
Assists HR Specialist as needed with employee new hire paperwork.
Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Conducts on-going audits of all personnel files to ensure compliance with the various contracts.
Requests needed information and maintains follow-up.
Updates employee information in HRIS system as needed
Log Employee trainings, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, licenses and DFL equipment
Creates new hire folders
Assists Human Resource Generalist and Human Resource Director as needed.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma with two or more years of relevant clerical experience; or any combination of relevant education, experience, knowledge and demonstrated skills which will enable satisfactory performance.
Must be computer proficient with working Knowledge of Microsoft Office word/excel
Process and distribute mail, faxes and scans as appropriate
Must be detail oriented and organized
Must have excellent filing skills
