Full-time Human Resources Manager wanted for Clearwater company.
The successful candidate will act as an HR Manager providing leadership and management for all areas of human resources including strategy, talent management, benefits and compensation, HR policy, employee relations, and training and development.
Responsibilities include:
- Process payroll biweekly for a company with less than 50 employees
- Handle employee questions regarding benefits, policies, complaints
- Spearhead recruiting new hires
- Process new hires including enrollment in benefits
- Process & assist management with employee terminations
- Work closely with our payroll company’s (ADP Resource) Dedicated Human Resources Partner
- Maintain employee personnel records and files
- Coordinate prospective employee drug test, background check, and credit check
- Conduct New hire orientation and packet review
- Process COBRA notices
- Implement and educate staff about HR law changes
- Implement & enforce new policies and procedures within the company
- Process Worker’s Comp claims/issues
- Create & conduct biweekly Safety Meetings
- Drive a positive company culture
Financial Experience
- Efficient in QuickBooks
- Interact with CPA to ensure proper tax and schedules are accurate
- Provide Backup for the Bookkeeper
- Reconcile all bank accounts
- Prepare financial reports as needed
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Three years of HR management experience
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must be well versed in HR competencies including HR strategy, talent management, total rewards, benefit and compensation administration and design, employee relations, HR policy and procedure, employment law, and training and development.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
