Individual Tax Client Relationship Manager

We are a reputable full-service public accounting and advisory firm with offices in Florida and Tennessee. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Tax Preparer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our client service efforts, handling administrative duties and ensuring accurate preparation and review of individual tax returns. This position requires strong client communication, an eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of tax laws.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file federal and state individual tax returns (1040s)
  • Review tax returns prepared by other staff members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial records, income statements, and other relevant documents to ensure correct tax filings.
  • Identify potential tax deductions, credits, and liabilities to optimize client tax outcomes.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax return status.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.
  • Collaborate effectively with our offshore team.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of individual tax preparation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations related to individual tax returns.
  • Proficiency in tax software. CCH Axcess preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
