We are beginning a very exciting search for a VP Construction for a prestigious, international developer who is very rapidly growing in the industrial space.
Assets include spec and build-to-suit, 500k – 2M SF in size for logistics, large data centers, manufacturing, biomanufacturing, distribution, etc., SE focused, but could very much be national in scope.
The ideal candidate would have 8+ years’ experience, with at least 5 in Big Box Industrial Construction.
Must be an expert in managing very large projects from pre-development thru construction to closeout.
Involvement in project feasibility, cost estimates and project schedules, due diligence, working with outside consultants such as Geotech, civil, survey, topo, utilities, entitlements, architects, civil engineers, permitting, government agencies.
Responsible for quality control, budgets, schedules, and on time delivery, identify potential problems and mitigation efforts along with monthly reporting.
Projects typically would be from 18-24 months in duration and this candidate would be responsible for vetting, hiring, and oversight of general contractors, contracts, specifications, budgets, etc.
Manage 6-10 on-going projects with 3-5 new projects a year, visiting each monthly with on-going virtual monitoring.
