The Directory Solutions inside Sales Rep Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts for YourMembership.com buyers guide platform offerings and advertising via telephone; generates prospective customers through warm leads and cold calling; closes sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.We are the only company to have the exclusive relationships with both professional and trade-based associations in the representing of their marketplace guides and as a result provide a unique value-proposition enabling individuals to win. The ideal candidate keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.

Job Responsibilities

  • Must possess a customer-centric posture as a sales consultant
  • Initiates sales process by cold calling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Manage leads from various online sources provided by a lead generation team
  • Present with passion and conviction the unique value of partner’s buyers guide
  • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  • Craft, present and close total solutions to employers (advertising – based solutions)
  • Develop/manage sales pipeline, monitor/report sales activity, provide accurate forecast
  • Collaborate with requisite cross-functional teammates to delight the customer
  • Quickly develop vertical industry subject matter expertise
  • Develop strong relationships with the customer, resolve problems, and seek additional opportunities to meet needs in an entrepreneurial manner
  • Manage a CRM and OMS (Order Management System) effectively and efficiently
  • Plan and prioritize sales activity to consistently overachieve months sales goals

Minimum Job Requirements

Physical Demands: Must be able to utilize standard office equipment including desktop computer, monitor, keyboard, and telephone system.  Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
