Second Avenue is recruiting entrepreneurial Property Management Sales Representatives to support our company’s rapidly growing Property Management initiatives regionally throughout the US. We are looking for candidates to join our team that are willing to work in a team driven and collaborative environment to achieve excellent performance. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player responsible for completing assigned production objectives within targeted timeframes.

This role will assist our VP, Sales in supporting the expansion of our Property Management Services. At Second Avenue, we have the unique opportunity to offer institutionalized property management services to investors that own 50 homes to thousands of homes.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with VP on all new client initiatives.
  • Deliver client presentations with tailored delivery to each client on an individual basis.
  • Effectively communicate company’s core values and service offerings.
  • Understanding of company’s best in class platform and how it is disrupting traditional practices in the SFR industry and typical property management solutions.
  • Coordinate communications between the company’s property management team and clients to present an optimal external and internal property management experience.
  • Continuing adaptation to changing platform structures and initiatives based on overall client growth patters – both structurally and geographically.
  • This position collaborates with Sales Development teams to formulate sales strategies and objectives. Additionally, coordination and team selling is required.
  • This position involves community engagement, representing Second Avenue at local organizations and events
  • Position requires frequent business travel, as well as some work during evenings and weekends
  • Strong orientation towards consultative account management and understanding of how to create and maintain profitable business relationships with future and existing clients.
  • Must be able to manage change with resilience and display tremendous drive and commitment.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics and Background:

  • Energetic, self-starting, self-motivated sales professional with a performance driven perspective towards initiating and closing sales prospects.
  • Minimum 2 years sales production experience in a highly professional institutional environment.
  • Proven sales track record – represented by objective metrics and personal accomplishments.
  • Real estate experience required.
  • Property Management experience desired.
  • Single Family Rental (SFR) specific experience a plus.
  • Sales management/leadership experience a plus.
  • Active Real Estate License Preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
  • Strong work ethic.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong professionalism, communication and “people skills” – an excellent listener.
  • Superior sales skills, Verbal math and reasoning skills.
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must possess attention to detail.
  • Team oriented with ability to work independently.
  • Intermediate to expert level technology skills (e.g., Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.). Extensive knowledge with respect to web-based marketing – including active expertise/experience with email, social media and data driven research.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel via own vehicle within local assigned area.
