Position Summary:
The Project Manager (Integrations) oversees the daily operational execution of firm projects, managing all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion with a focus on the partnership (M&A) process. He/she is a resource to the entire firm, including all operating groups, partners, and growth services such as marketing, accounting, human resources, legal, and information technology. Enthusiastic, disciplined, organized, and self-motivated, the ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively lead cross-functional teams to complete tasks on time and to a high standard of quality.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Assists senior leadership in the reviewing, organizing, and prioritizing new project requests.
· Assists in the definition of project scope, timeline, resources (budget & stakeholders), and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
· Works with relevant stakeholders to create and maintain comprehensive project plans to track and report progress.
· Performs resource and risk management to forecast and minimize project risks.
· Leads regular stakeholder meetings, helping the team gather, analyze, and organize tasks, track progress, and move them to quality completion.
· Prepares and presents updates for relevant stakeholders, reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation options.
· Manages and recommends changes to project scope, project timeline and project resources, as needed.
· Maintains a project portfolio including a breakdown of each initiative and how they line up from a priority perspective.
· Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
· Maintains expert level knowledge of the latest firm project management tools, techniques, and templates, and provides subject matter expertise and training for colleagues, as needed.
· Establishes and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders (colleagues) and relevant third parties/vendors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· 3+ years’ experience in business and/or operations involving strategic execution
· A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, with PMP, Six-Sigma, or ACP certification preferred
· M&A project experience preferred
· Proficiency in project management software tools (i.e., MS Project, Monday.com, etc.)
· Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail is required
· Ability to adapt and recalibrate plans fluidly is crucial
· Proven project management expertise across multiple business operations and functions
· Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all job levels and relay information in legible reports to leadership
· Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate problems and present solutions
· Excellent presentation skills to effectively describe an initiative or process
· Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
· Ability to understand the internal climate of the organization, define the most productive channels of communication, and uses such channels to achieve goals and objectives
