Pay: $18-$21/hr
Schedule: M – F 8:00a-5:00p
Computer Technician (4-Month Contract to Hire):
We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our client’s team for a 4-month contract with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position (based on performance). In this vital role, you’ll be the tech hero for the hospital staff, providing prompt and efficient support to keep them up and running.
What You’ll Do:
- Triage and troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues faced by hospital staff, including software, hardware, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions to staff with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Document and escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with staff from various departments.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and healthcare IT best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a computer technician or similar role.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support.
- A valid A+ or equivalent computer technician certification is preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus.
