Working in the homebuilding industry is tangible and rewarding, but not every job at Ryan Homes requires a hard hat. We don’t just sell and build new homes; we also manage teams, acquire land, manufacture materials, provide mortgages to our customers, and provide corporate support to Ryan Homes multi-billion dollar business operations.
As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will work with an industry-leading home building team to identify, secure, and develop prime locations in growing communities. Your experience in management and attention to detail will make you a leader in delivering NVR homes on time and on budget.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work alongside marketing and production team members to complete land feasibility studies
- Negotiate directly with land owners to secure prime sites at the best price
- Provide accurate timing for the proposed development analysis
- Work with the development team to ensure efficient use of land and cost-effective completion of a finished lot
- Understand and oversee site development, including local zoning, planning, and pricing
- Work with marketing team members to monitor competitive local home building and prices
- Arrange lot development
- Represent Ryan Homes in the local community
Qualifications
- 3-5 years successful land acquisition experience in the Homebuilding Industry
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Real Estate finance experience
- Skilled in land deal structuring
