Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Uphold company core values at all times
  • Develop projects in accordance with LGI Development Manual.
  • Manage erosion control for development sites and ensure SWPPP compliance.
  • Solicit, analyze and meet with contractors for bids on all new development projects.
  • Prepare/Coordinate and approve bid tabs.
  • Prepare/Coordinate and approve and submit to Land Development contracts and submit to VP – Acquisition & Development for execution.
  • Manage site contractors through all stages of development.
  • Order and track record plat reviews and approvals.
  • Order and track as-built submittals and approvals.
  • Performing final walks with local jurisdictions for street acceptance and bond release.
  • Track and assure local jurisdiction approvals of water/sewer systems within developments.
  • Meet with engineers monthly to review developments that are being engineered.
  • Work with dry utility companies to ensure that utilities are scheduled and monitor through completion.
  • Work with CFO and Corporate Finance Department to update development budgets and lot cost quarterly.
  • Work with acquisition and development team to update monthly development and engineering start dates for all projects.
  • Update development agenda and attend land development meetings on monthly basis with executive team.
  • Perform turnover meeting with assist from acquisition and development team.

 

Candidates must display the following qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field.
  • 4+ years relevant experience.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Experience in residential construction environments preferred.
