Land Development Manager – Multifamily – LIHTC
ISC Construction Recruiters is working with a thriving Real Estate Development & Construction Company to recruit candidates for a Land Development Manager for Multifamily – LIHTC projects in FL. This is a remote position and the candidate can reside in any of these cities in FL.
The Land Development Manager for Multifamily will have these general responsibilities:
- All aspects of land development and acquisition, including planning and research, site selection, due diligence review, managing entitlement, negotiation, and contracting for potential affordable housing opportunities for new construction and renovation.
- Assist with real estate transactions and the development process for multifamily housing.
- Participate in the development and implementation of real estate development business plans and work programs.
Requirements of the Land Development Manager for Multifamily include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in land acquisition and development in either a public or private sector.
- Must have knowledge and experience in LIHTC, tax exempt bond programs, federal and state funding for affordable housing and multifamily development.
- Experience in deal structuring and transaction negotiations.
- Prior experience managing large multi-family development projects and programs.
- Strong project management and financial analysis experience.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, excellent communications both verbal and written, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite to include, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, Access and PowerPoint.
