Position reports to: Landscape Account Manager
General Responsibilities
Supervises Crew Leaders and Crews for Maintenance division ensuring high quality work
Visit job sites for quality control and training purposes
Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order
Arrange daily, weekly, and monthly schedule and action plans for maintenance services Schedule, review, and complete estimates
Ensure work orders are correct and submitted for billing timely
Manage inventory and purchase needs of pesticides and fertilizer with GM
Ensure all guidelines outlines by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services are complied with
Specific Responsibilities
- Visit crews on job sites to ensure work is of high quality and provide advice and training as necessary
- Work on scheduling board
- Effectively manage labor and equipment to meet our gross profit objectives
- Establishing and monitoring guidelines to determine field labor requirements
- Training, motivating, leading, and evaluating maintenance crew team members and spray
tech
- Identifying weaknesses in operating policies/ procedures, and recommending corrective
action
- Helping to create and follow our annual financial plan
- Meet daily with Spray Tech to discuss schedule and any issues on properties serviced
- Review completed Work Orders
- Troubleshoot pest problems
- Visit properties to evaluate performance
- Coordinate with Account Manager on any special requests
- Manage inventory for pesticides and fertilizers
- Oversee or carry out:
- Vehicle safety checks each morning
- Stock vehicle with relevant supplies and fill tanks as required
- Perform services to customers on scheduled route
- Review submitted Work Orders, ensuring they are completed and submitted timely
- Clean interior and exterior of truck weekly
- Continue to develop technical skills in the landscaping environment
- Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the General Manager from time to time
Must have experience in the landscape industry leading crews
Must have a valid Drivers License
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
