Straley Robin Vericker, an AV rated, boutique Tampa law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its community development district practice to handle various legal duties on behalf of the firm’s CDD clients.
These duties include: generally representing the CDD’s Board of Supervisors at their monthly meetings; preparing government contracts for the acquisition, construction, and maintenance of public infrastructure (including competitive bidding requirements); reviewing and drafting documents related to the issuance of tax-exempt bonds; analyzing real estate law issues; providing guidance to elected and appointed officials on public records law and the sunshine law; and performing other tasks related to local government law.
Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Florida and have at least 1 year of relevant practice experience. An ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in local government law.
