Full Job Description
Small Tampa business litigation firm seeks an administrative assistant/junior paralegal. Anticipated job duties are as follows:
- Answering incoming calls
- Greeting incoming visitors to office
- Scheduling court hearings, depositions, mediation, travel schedules
- Monitoring status of process servers and related invoices
- Entering information into law firm management/calendaring system
- Identifying and obtaining relevant client documents to build/maintain client files
- Expense tracking and management
- Reviewing and drafting basic correspondence to clients and third parties
- Proof-reading, typing, editing and formatting legal documents
- Assembling and organizing files for depositions, trials and hearings
- Other office tasks as assigned
We are looking for candidates with at least one full year of prior experience as an administrative professional or law firm assistant or paralegal. Candidates should be well-organized, possess a customer-service mentality and be able to interact with and conduct themselves in a professional environment.
