We are a small apartment community in St Petersburg looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years experience, a positive attitude, energetic personality and able to work independently. .
Job Duties:
– Evaluate and turn vacant units.
– Perform service requests and troubleshoot repairs as needed
– Ground maintenance and general property up keep.
– On-call service for after hour’s emergencies.
– Other duties as required by Property Manager.
Required Job Skills
– Basic plumbing.
– Basic electrical knowledge.
– Ability to troubleshoot and make appliance repairs.
– Key and lock replacement.
– Painting, drywall, and basic carpentry skills.
– A keen eye for details.
– Great with customers.
– The ability to follow-up and follow through with assigned tasks.
– Reliable, meet deadlines, and team player.
Applicants will not be considered unless they meet the following criteria:
– Applicants must have own tools.
– Prefer applicant to be HVAC certified.
– Applicants must have reliable transportation.
– Applicants must be willing and able to work overtime for emergency calls which may include weekends.
– Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
