Responsible for performing all lease administration duties in order to on-board newly awarded property management assignments.

Responsibilities
Verify lease accuracy and activate leases and amendments
Abstract new and existing leases into Yardi in order to run approved rent rolls and obtain all of the essential lease information, and create tenant records
Coordinate and manage the abstracting schedule, via SharePoint, for larger transitions and overflow from coordinators
Update and maintain current list of outstanding leases to be abstracted and assign them accordingly
Audit and analyze lease documents, addressing any discrepancies, issues and questions, make recommendations and implement solutions
Provide support to Property Management by answering and addressing questions and issues relating to Yardi and lease abstracting
Train new employees on abstracting leases in Yardi
Provide assistance to the Yardi Help Desk to include: closing work tickets, activating leases, and completing square footage/unit changes
Update and maintain all lease information and data in appropriate databases via property management and accounting software while maintaining new amendments
Certify initial rent roll, including input information into Yardi based on leases, audit for discrepancies, make recommendations, implement solutions
Request, process, and track lease documents to include: estoppels, letters of credit, certificates of insurance, and commencement memorandums
Input lease CAM calculations and insurance and real estate tax reconciliations/estimates into Yardi
Generate specialized reports to monitor specialized fields and pursue discrepancies and expirations
Maintain file retrieval/storage to include; extracting information from SharePoint and uploading into Yardi for letters of credit
Establish task priorities and create schedules for lease objectives
Assist in completing other tasks within the department when additional resources are needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of relevant work experience or any similar combination of education and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of Yardi, MRI or similar lease administration software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent internal and external customer service
Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
Ability to understand, interpret, and abstract complex real estate lease terminology
Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements
Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours
May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
Ability to observe details at close range
