Overview

The candidate for this position will manage lease contracts and other related documents associated with property lease initiatives in accordance to company policies. Duties include entering, maintaining and updating lease contracts in a Lease Management database as well as ensuring lease documents and financial records are maintained with the highest level of accuracy. The Lease Administrator will monitor, track and respond to critical events associated with Lease activities.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Lease Management Software and Contract Database to be used for tracking all property leases, including ongoing database maintenance and reporting requirements.
  • Administer Lease Documents – report on deadlines, provide notice of expiration, renewal and other key lease elements to the lease team.
  • Data entry of all lease agreements including amendments, renewals and terminations.
  • Ensure final lease and all approved documents are provided to the legal team to be stored in approved manner.
  • Liaison to accounting and accounts payable to ensure leases are accounted for and paid per the lease.
  • Reach out to new landlords and get them set up as a new vendor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Real Estate or Lease Administration.
  • Must possess a basic understanding of the Broadcast Industry.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret detailed documentation with accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to analyze problems, prioritize work flow, and multitask.
