LEASE ADMINISTRATOR- Commercial/Corporate Real Estate
Type: 6+ Month Contract

POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Real Estate Lease Administration Team, this individual will be responsible for tasks relative to real estate lease administration, reconciliations and database integrity.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

·  Review and interpret Leases and other property related documents.

·  Real Estate Database data validation.

·  Identify and report discrepancies in Real Estate Database.

·  Preliminary review, research and confirmation and Reconciliations in accordance with the Lease.

·  Preliminary Lease compliance analysis of Landlord billings, real estate taxes and recurring charges.

·  Communicate/correspond with Landlords and other relative parties.

·  Establish and maintain strong relationships with Landlords.
 Job Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum of Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration, preferably in retail or restaurant industry. Accounting background a plus.
  •  Ability to independently examine/interpret leases or other governing documents, analyze expense categories for reasonableness and accuracy, validate annual escalation statements, prepare variance reports and maintain audit work papers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work flows.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook required.
  • Experience with SAP and Accruent REM software a plus.
  • Must be intuitive and have strong problem solving/research/analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to self-manage.
