Job Description

The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing and showing our single family homes and for completing the refurbishment checklist.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Showing properties to potential tenants:

  • Receive tentative appointments from the Call Center to show homes to potential residents.
  • Accept or re-schedule these appointments and then meet the resident at the property
  • Walk potential resident through home, pointing out highlights and answering any questions they may have
  • Communicate the process for the potential resident to follow if they wish to rent the home
Move-in ready properties:
  • Inspect property and approve move-ins, schedule new move in cleanings, final grass cut and spot check for cleanliness and any issues
  • Ensure all properties have keyed entry on every door
Resident Move in
  • Communicate with Assistant Portfolio Manager (APM) to schedule move in time with new tenant
  • Complete Move In report and send to APM
Move-Outs/Vacancy Confirmations
  • Execute 10-day walk through and complete inspection report on ipad
  • Ensure property is secure and safe upon leaving
  • Change locks on property and put on lock box
  • Additional duties or job functions may be required
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Real Estate License – REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of YARDI preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic financial acumen with ability to use mobile office electronic tools
  • Prior customer service experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS: 

High School Diploma or GED
Licensed driver with insured vehicle
Prior property management experience, preferably in single family residences
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus
