Experienced & Bi-Lingual, Leasing Consultant for a TAX CREDIT & SECTION 8 Housing program with minimum 2 yrs. Experience.

Prior experience in a TAX CREDIT environment is a Must.

Must live within 15 miles radius of the Community

Job Summary:

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the leasing and marketing of the apartments, initiatives of a mixed market rate/affordable LIHTC & Section 8 Housing program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Some of the position’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to; communicating with prospective renters over the phone and e-mail, conducting property tours, scheduling appointments, processing and managing rental applications to include collection of third party verifications, strategizing and implementing marketing initiatives and community outreach. Follow instructions as given by supervisors.

The ideal candidate must be Bi-Lingual and possess strong communication skills both verbal and written. Strong marketing skills and professional demeanor is a must at all times. Candidate must have a strong sales aptitude, positive attitude, computer proficiency, and be a team player. Previous experience in residential leasing and/or property management is a plus. Minimum requirement of at least 1-2 years sales experience is required for this position.
