Leasing Consultant – MAXX Properties (Tampa)

MAXX Properties is hiring a Leasing Consultant for an immediate opportunity at Deerpath on the Lake, our 292-unit community located in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, lease renewals, resident retention and daily interaction with prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities: Managing telephone and on-site traffic to assist with information pertaining to the apartment community Maintain knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage, etc. Establish lease terms and daily leasing goals Complete follow up thank you notes and call backs with prospective residents after the initial community visit Monitor community advertisements and responses Assist with planning and implementation of various community sponsored resident functions and activities Prepare and assist with all leasing paperwork (applications, lease agreements, addenda and move-in packets
Requirements: Must have 2 years of experience in leasing apartments (conventional, multi-family preferred) Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with Yardi is preferred Superior customer service and communication skills Must be enthusiastic, reliable, organized, and able to multi-task Must successfully pass our background check and drug screen
