HIRING – LEASING CONSULTANT FOR APARTMENT COMPLEX (TAMPA)
Compensation: Based on Experience

Our growing Tampa based management company is looking for leasing agents for our multi-family community!

– Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
– Sales management and marketing knowledge, skills and abilities to sell products and services to new and existing customers
– Ability to visually inspect units, grounds, and other aspects of the property to determine adherence to standards
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain appropriate discretion
– Knowledge and skills to manage projects, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
– Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-Associate’s Preferred
– Leasing experience (preferred)
– 1 year sales and customer service experience (required)
– Property management software experience, Yardi and Entrata (preferred)
– Proficient in Microsoft products, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (required)
– Experience in placing rental ads
– Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Job duties include but not limited to:
– Tour the community with prospects
– Follow up with prospects to close the lease
– Lease and pre-lease apartments
– Complete and explain lease/renewal paperwork
– Entering data into a computer system
– Walk apartments and community
– Assist with resident relations
– Schedule service/work orders via phone/online
– Answer phones
– Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
– Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Leasing agents average 37-40 hours weekly, depending on schedule.
