(Gandy-Sun Bay South area)
TRG Management, a large Property Management Company with rental properties located across the State of Florida, is actively seeking a Leasing Manager for the Westshore area for one of our luxury lease-ups, to show and lease apartments to prospective tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications
- Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses size and layout, available facilities and services, and terms of the lease
- Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit
- Inspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance
- Compiles listings of available rental units
- Identifies prospects
- Answers incoming call and voicemails in a timely and professional manner
- Have prospect complete application and secure deposit following the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
- Update availability report, process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Community Manager for approval. Follow up with the applicant regarding status.
- Ensure the apartment is ready for the resident to move-in on the agreed date.
- Immediately follow-up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close the lease agreement. If unable to help candidates, refer them to affiliated communities to meet the prospect’s needs.
- Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up, or monitor advertising effectiveness. Gather information about market competition in the area and file.The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 2 years leasing experience and in a sales related position, preferably in a luxury lease-up environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills & customer service-oriented personality
- Ability to work in a multi-prioritizing work environment

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 /hour
