Spring is here and we are growing! Merion Residential is looking for talented leasing professionals to join our team at various locations in the Largo/Clearwater/St. Petersburg area. We are looking for professionals to work as Community Managers, Assistant Managers and Leasing Consultants at our amazing communities in Pinellas County.

Community Managers: Duties will include managing the operations of the entire community. This will include managing all financial operations; developing marketing initiatives; supervising the leasing office and maintenance teams; managing the operation of the property related to maintenance and construction; tracking business activity and reporting key information to senior management and the asset management team; marketing the community through consultative sales; and ensuring that all prospects and residents are being treated fairly and in accordance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and other housing laws. Required experience and education: 3 or more years of managerial experience in the multi-family/hospitality industry; a college degree in business or equivalent experience. Assistant Managers: Duties will include assisting the Community Manager in the initiation and management of all core business. This will include performing general accounting duties such as calculating, posting and verifying information to make payments to vendors, processing resident rental payments, and obtaining financial data in order to maintain accurate accounting records for the property; generating phone and walk-in traffic through marketing and networking efforts; greeting and qualifying prospects; marketing the community through the direct sales process; assisting with the coordination of the team’s work schedule; processing rent payments (collecting rent, posting A/R, collections, etc.); and, ensuring that resident service requests are fulfilled properly and that the property is visually appealing, this includes walking the grounds, removing litter, and communicating service needs to the maintenance team. Required experience and education: 3 or more years of experience in a service industry, such as hospitality, retail and/or sales; high school diploma. Leasing Consultants : Duties will include demonstrating and leasing apartments/space through sales and marketing efforts. Must have a thorough knowledge of the local leasing market, competitors, and be able to analyze market data, generate prospects, and promote the property through marketing initiatives. Candidate will work with the Community Manager to ensure the efficient operation and administration of the leasing office; this includes performing basic Accounting work. Required experience and education: 2 or more years of direct real estate, retail sales, hospitality, or marketing; high school diploma. All positions all full-time, and require strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, must have strong computer skills, including the MS Office Suite. Experience using Yardi or a similar software program is a plus. Must have capable multi-tasking skills, the ability to work independently, have a self-directed work ethic, and be reliable.
