A fast-paced Property Management company operating in Florida is looking for a full-time Leasing professional. We are a multi-family real estate management company who manages large properties ranging from 60 – 280 units. The Current unit is in Tampa with 180 units. This positions directly reports the Property Manager,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Apartment Inquiries:

  • Responds to walk-in traffic, phone inquiries, and internet inquiries.
  • Provides prospective residents with information about the apartment, neighborhood and lease terms.
  • Documents inquiries in residential software program.
  • Schedules appointments.

Sales:

  • Greets prospects in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Shows apartment, presenting the benefits and advantages of the property and neighborhood.
  • Closes the sale. At least three tactful attempts should be made before accepting a prospects desire to decline.
  • All sales techniques must remain within the Fair Housing guidelines.

Administrative:

  • Updates to the phone log and greeting card components of the residential software program must be completed in accordance with our policy.
  • Screen all prospective residents, including the running of criminal and credit reports.
  • Accurately complete leases, addendums and supporting documentation.
  • Accepts rent payments, accurately records the payments and prepares for deposit according.

  • Education and/or Experience – Must have a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and background in sales is preferred.
  • Driving Requirements – may require a Valid Driver’s License is assigned to more than one property.
  • Physical Demands – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with arms and hands. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
