The ideal candidate will have a sales and customer service background in high end establishments. Prior apartment leasing experience in a Class A luxury apartment building setting a plus. The primary function of this position is to proactively secure leases. This is primarily a sales position, but duties are not limited to:
Position Title: PART TIME LEASING PROFESSIONAL
PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Lease apartments and create a vital first impression for Jefferson Apartment Group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leases and markets brand new and never been lived in apartments
- Completes all leasing paperwork
- Compiles and processes applications for approval
- Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new lease holder
- Walks apartments and reports all necessary improvements
- Assists with resident relations
- Keys in all fees, deposits, and new lease information
- Shows apartments to prospective leases
- Walks models and show units daily
- Promotes the community through outreach
- Posts ads on Craigslist and various other websites
Must have excellent communication, organization and people skills. Strong sales and customer service background required.
